BMW Art Cars at LACMA

I visited LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) tonight to see the BMW art cars on display. They are only on display for a few weeks in Los Angeles and it was definitely worth the trip to see them. I've read about these cars in the past and seen so many pictures, videos, models, etc of them. Sort of unreal to see the REAL thing in person...

The concept of these art cars is actually pretty cool. BMW commissioned artists to paint the cars and treat them as blank canvases. There have been quite a few BMW art cars, but only four were displayed at LACMA: BMW M1, BMW 3.0CSL, BMW 320i, and BMW 635csi. The four on display were designed by Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella, and Andy Warhol.
